Privacy policy

Last updated June 2, 2026.

Short version

Memophant runs locally on your Mac. Your memory — notes, wiki pages, design docs, code — stays in your git repository. We don't see it, we don't store it, and we don't train on it.

What we collect

Email addresses on the waitlist. If you sign up for launch notifications, we store your email and an anonymous source tag (which page you signed up from) so we can email you when Memophant ships. We use Resend to send that email.

Anonymous site analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and Core Web Vitals without cookies and without identifying you personally.

App telemetry. The Memophant macOS app is offline-capable. It does not phone home with usage data. Crash reports are opt-in. AI features (Distill, Run with Claude) call the Anthropic API directly from your machine — we never see the prompts or responses.

What we don't collect

  • The contents of your notes, wiki pages, design docs, or code.
  • Your git history.
  • Your Claude Code session transcripts.
  • Your IP address (Vercel Analytics is anonymized).

Your rights

You can request the deletion of your waitlist email at any time by emailing privacy@memophant.co. We'll remove your record and confirm.

Updates

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, if you're on the waitlist, email you.

This page is a plain-language summary, not a legal contract. The binding version lives in the app and at launch.
