The site you're reading

This website (memophant.co) is a marketing site. Using it means you agree to be a reasonable person — don't scrape it abusively, don't use it to break laws, and don't pretend to be Memophant.

The Memophant app

Memophant is sold under a source-available license. The source code is public on GitHub for transparency and audit. You may read it, build it for personal use, and modify it for your own machine. Commercial redistribution, resale, or operating Memophant as a service for others requires a separate commercial license — contact licensing@memophant.co.

Your data, your repo

Memophant operates on files in your git repository. We make no claim on your notes, wiki, design docs, or code. The memory format is plain markdown — you can leave Memophant at any time and your data stays exactly where it is.

AI features and third parties

Distill, Run with Claude, and similar features call the Anthropic API using credentials you supply. You're responsible for your usage under Anthropic's terms. We don't proxy or store these requests.

No warranty

Memophant is provided as-is. We work hard to make it reliable, but software has bugs and AI features can be wrong. Review what Memophant proposes before applying it to your repo. The secret-scan reduces risk; it does not eliminate it.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date and, for licensed customers, email you.
